Russian Food House takes part in the Russian-Kuwaiti webinar

On September 21, more than 80 business leaders took part in the open webinar «Russia–Kuwait food trade in post-COVID-19 era». The event was organized by Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Russian Food House in Dubai.

The event featured presentations on key trends impacting food trade in Kuwait and Russia, Kuwait’s efforts to boost food security, and bilateral business opportunities that can be further explored. The speakers discussed the prospects for Russian food companies entering Gulf market, highlighted the legal requirements for importing food products to Kuwait, and also listed the types of food products that are demanded in the Kuwaiti market.

Representative of Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the GCC countries, manager of the Russian Food House in Dubai and general director of Incona Alexei Busev reported on the opportunities provided by the Russian Food House for establishing direct contacts with the major food and beverage producers from Russia. Kuwaiti companies should leverage resources provided by the Russian Food House to expand their business relations in Russia, which is especially important in these difficult times for the whole world, he concluded.
